Mind Of Their Own Dog Training provides the following services:
Puppy Training:
This is a one time two hour class for puppies 8 weeks to approximately 4 months. We use positive reinforcement training techniques, which includes Clicker (Operant Conditioning) and/or Lure and Reward Training Techniques.
Basic Obedience:
We arrange for approximately one hour a week for seven weeks, where we demonstrate to the owner(s) one command per week. Also we cover any specific problem(s) you are having. Again we use the Clicker (Operant Conditioning) and/or Lure and Reward Training Techniques.
The seven commands taught are:
- Heel
- Sit
- Stay
- Come
- Down Stay
- Place
- Stand Stay
Problem Solving:
We arrange for approximately one hour a week for as many weeks as necessary to resolve the problem(s).
Advance Obedience:
Again we arrange for one hour a week for 8 weeks, where we demonstrate to the owner(s) off leash on the seven commands listed above.
AKC Conformation Showing and Obedience Trials:
Demonstrate the drills that a dog is put through for conformation showing and obedience trials.

We offer a discount on basic and advance training for dogs adopted from any SPCA, any rescue society or Pound.
